The laptop uses 60% recycled plastic without VOCs, paint, or chemicals. Ocean-bound plastic covers the Aspire Vero 16 touchpad. Like the previous model, the new Vero include 100% recyclable packaging that may be reused. Finally, Acer uses standard screws for convenient laptop upgrades, repairs, and recycling. Acer’s latest battery management software features Eco and Echo Plus energy conservation modes.

Acer also stated that a new intelligent with UV and RO-based water filtration devices will be customized for India. In addition to e-bikes, Acer is expanding into mobility solutions. The company also builds smart home ecosystem products, including everyday items. The Vero 16 laptop’s chassis is made of more than 60% recycled plastic (up from 30% in the first generation) and has no volatile organic paint, compounds, or additives, supporting Acer’s carbon-neutral mission and circular economy.

The Aspire Vero 16 has the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, which perform better and use less electricity. An integrated Intel AI Boost Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in the Core Ultra CPU optimizes and reduces energy consumption for sustainable computing. The laptop comes with AcerSense battery management software, which improves energy efficiency and performance and lets users customize battery performance in four modes: Eco+, Eco, Balanced, and Performance.

Standard screws allow the new laptop to be disassembled quickly and easily for repair, upgrade, or recycling. The new Aspire Vero laptop line is eco-friendly to reduce its carbon footprint. “Acer is proposing ‘conscious technology’ designed and made with consideration for the future to help tackle the increasing challenges posed by climate change,” said Jerry Kao, Acer COO.

Corporately, Acer has joined RE100 and pledged 100% renewable electricity by 2035. We promise net-zero emissions by 2050.” By reusing factory debris and making all packaging 100% recyclable, Acer says they have reduced the line’s carbon impact during packing and delivery. Acer is integrating recycled materials and energy-saving components into its new laptop line and packaging them in eco-friendly ways. As Acer works towards carbon neutrality, the new Aspire Vero 16 embodies its environmental and innovative vision and aims to collect high-quality carbon credits.
